Digital Literature

THE BRIEF

Create a new business opportunity for an e-book publisher using digital as a way to create value for – and delight – a teen market

RESPONSE

To engage with the desired teen audience we propose finding them in their natural digital habitats. We will connect with them on Snapchat and host a Digital Literature Festival Week

For a week, we would have a top space on the snapchat magazine stand, which is accessed by millions of teenagers daily.
The Digital Literature Festival (DLF) magazine will be sponsored
by the e-book publisher, it will feature on topic curated pieces
that are relevant and entertaining to the teen audience.
To promote the festival, we will introduce the full body snapchat filter camera screen which will invite passers by to step closer and transform them in to iconic book characters, which will automatically be fed in to the DLF live snapchat feed. Animated Facial filters will also be available for snapchat app users during the Festival week. Users can share their filtered on the live feed as well as directly with their followers

Unknowing store visitors will walk in to their own story.
A narrator will describe the actions of individual visitors over the store music.
The narrator will describe the individuals in perfect detail until it is obvious to the individuals that the story is about them.
At the till they will receive a card with a link to view the whole story and reaction.
For a limited time we will transform the popular BOXPARK Shoreditch pop-up mall in to BOOKPARK and host exclusive workshops and literary activities
